Reforested areas affected by fires in Constanza

Collaborators from various companies carried out a weekend of planting trees in part of the wooded areas that were recently affected by forest fires in different parts of this municipality.

This action was led by the companies, Alfridomsa and IBT Group in coordination with the environment office in Constanza, which was carried out in Las Neblinas, in the La Palma community, one of the areas most affected by the claims.

Applying the protocols recommended by the health and staff reduction organizations, about 2,000 plants of different species were planted.

Gina Victoriano, administrative director of Alfridomsa, explained that with that day they seek to contribute to the ecological restoration of the area, for the rescue of forests and the conservation of aquifer sources.

"We continue to reaffirm our commitment to the environment, taking the measures required by the incidence of the COVID-19 pandemic and having to have fewer collaborators than usual, but with the same love and desire to plant trees," said Victoriano.

I regretted the damage caused by fires registered in the mountains of Constanza, which affected some 15 thousand tasks in forested areas.

“It is painful to see criminal hands destroying our forest resources and water sources. That is why we are here and from now on we will be coordinated to go to other affected areas that need to be reforested, "added the executive.

Donation: IBT Group and Alfridomsa also made a donation of masks and antibacterial gel for the staff of the municipal environmental office.
